I am so grateful for Centering Prayer. I was praying to a God that was someplace where I didn’t really have a relationship with. I feel that in Centering Prayer I can rest in God’s arms and I feel like a gentle rain is falling on me sometimes. And so, there’s this soaking of God and a place where I can go and listen rather than petitioning in prayer which was what I also do. And I really appreciate both of them and how they can both work together.
Estoy tan agradecida a la Oración Centrante. Oraba a un Dios que estaba en alguna parte, con el que realmente no tenía relación. Siento que en la Oración Centrante puedo descansar en los brazos de Dios, y siento a veces como si una suave lluvia cayera sobre mi. Y entonces sobreviene este empaparse en Dios, y accedo a un lugar al que puedo ir a escuchar, en vez de solo pedir en oración, que es lo que también hago. Y realmente valoro ambos tipo de oración y cómo pueden ayudarse mutuamente.
