During Centering Prayer we are consenting to the presence and action of God in our lives. And through this, deep healing has come into my life. I do not see people as a threat as I used to, but as a tremendous gift. I think Contemplative Outreach is creating an international community and this is breaking down prejudices and preconceived ideas; and also Contemplative Outreach brings us to service of the other, and this is leading us to serve our neighbor, our colleagues, the community, the poor and the marginalized; and it is breaking down selfishness in us so that we can truly become one with.
Oración Centrante, la Oración de Consentimiento
Durante la Oración Centrante consentimos a la presencia y acción de Dios en nuestra vida. Y por este medio en mi vida ha entrado una profunda sanación. Ya no veo a los demás como una amenaza, como antes lo hacía, sino como un formidable regalo. Creo que Contemplative Outreach está creando una comunidad internacional y eso está derribando prejuicios e ideas preconcebidas: y también Contemplative Outreach nos induce a estar al servicio de los otros, y esto nos lleva a servir a nuestro prójimo, a nuestros colegas, a nuestra comunidad, a los pobres y a los marginados, y está erradicando el egoísmo que hay en nosotros para que podamos verdaderamente hacernos uno con el corazón del mundo.
