Dependency on Christ is not an unhealthy dependency.
…It’s realistic ... and it doesn’t do away
with accountability, or responsibility.
… But it doesn’t try to do this under its own steam either,
without depending on the goodness
of divine assistance.
Think of what help is
…think of the levels of psychological angst,
or concerns, that that cry might emerge from
…whether a word,
… or just a movement of the heart.
Help! in other words, is one of the primary prayers
of the Christian religion, and it really means,
Thy will be done.
‘Help’ is not, ‘help me because I’m me,’
but ‘help me because I want to manifest Christ
for the glory of God in my particular
weakness.’

El Miedo No Es Útil
Depender de Cristo no es tener una dependencia que no es sana
…es realista ... y no nos libra del compromiso o de la responsabilidad.
Pero tampoco nos limita solamente a nuestro propio esfuerzo…
sin depender de la bondad de la asistencia divina.
Piensen en qué consiste el socorro
…piensen en los niveles de angustia psicológica,
o en las preocupaciones de las que puede surgir ese llamado
…ya sea con palabras
…o sólo con un movimiento del corazón.
En otras palabras, ¡socorro! es una de las primeras oraciones
de la religión Cristiana, y en realidad significa
Que se haga Tu voluntad
‘Socorro’ no significa ‘socórreme porque yo soy quién soy,’
Sino ‘socórreme porque en mi debilidad quiero manifestar a Cristo
para gloria de Dios.’
