By making oneself a servant of everyone, then the divine healing or the redemptive work of Christ can flow through us without our getting in the way. And so, servant leadership leads to gratitude, whereas just helping or fixing others presupposes a superiority in some degree that may create frustration in our neighbors.
The most beautiful thing about the spiritual journey is that we’re being gradually conformed to Christ crucified which means Christ in his humanity and ours in our humanity is being invited to surrender, turn itself over completely to God out of love and in the full consciousness that this is a service that’s being offered to God for the whole human race, not just ourselves or our particular friends or companions or enemies.
La belleza del liderazgo como servicio y la travesía espiritual
Al hacernos sirvientes de todos, la sanación divina o la labor de redención de Cristo puede fluir a través de nosotros sin que lo impidamos. De ese modo, el liderazgo como servicio conduce a la gratitud, en tanto que meramente el ayudar o tratar de arreglar a los otros presupone algún grado de superioridad, lo que puede producir frustración en nuestro prójimo.
Lo más bello del camino espiritual es que estamos siendo gradualmente moldeados según Cristo crucificado, lo que significa Cristo en su humanidad y nosotros en nuestra humanidad. Ésta es invitada a rendirse, a entregarse completamente a Dios por amor, y con la plena conciencia de que este es un servicio que estamos ofreciendo a Dios por toda la raza humana, no solo por nosotros o nuestros amigos o compañeros, o enemigos.
