I see three stages to the spiritual journey by which I understand the transformational process that is at the heart and soul of creation. The second stage is to become the Other and that's the source of most spiritual literature: how do you become the "Other" (capital O"); how do you respond so thoroughly to the invitation that you become the Other? In our Christian perspective, the Other, of course, is Jesus Christ. The Word of God made human in whom God is experiencing what human life is like. He must have wanted to do so because whatever he wants to do, is. This is the time for some discipline. This is the time for some practices that enable us to reduce the obstacles or to hang out with God enough to be transformed by the inherent communication of the divine goodness and presence 24 hours a day.
Segunda Etapa de la Travesía Espiritual
Veo tres etapas en la travesía espiritual , por la que me refiero al proceso de transformación que está en la esencia y centro de la creación. La segunda etapa es convertirse en el “Otro” (con “O” mayúscula). ¿Cómo respondemos plenamente a la invitación de convertirnos en el Otro? Desde nuestra perspectiva cristiana, por supuesto, el otro es Jesucristo, la Palabra de Dios hecha humana, en la que Dios está experimentando cómo es la vida humana.
