Resting always involves
the movement of the heart to love God.
Love is not exhausting.
It gets energy when it is exercised,
not in particular acts,
but in receiving it above all.
Of its own nature,
silence moves toward this kind of rest,
which is not doing nothing,
but is receiving.
This rest may feel like nothing,
but it is the most important
of all activities when one is receiving
God.

Recibiendo a Dios en el Descanso
Descansar siempre implica el movimiento del corazón para amar a Dios.
El Amor no es agotador. Obtiene energía cuando se ejercita,
no en actos particulares, sino al recibirlo sobretodo.
Por su propia naturaleza, el silencio se mueve hacia este tipo de descanso,
que no significa no hacer nada, sino que es recibir.
Este descanso puede no parecer gran cosa
pero es la más importante de todas las actividades
cuando uno esta recibiendo a Dios.
