What do you do when you have everything? In other words, God in his essence doesn’t need anything, doesn’t have to create. What is he going to do? Well, what would you do? Maybe you might play games. We might ask the question: Well, is this journey of life and this evolutionary process that we are immersed in, is it always so serious a situation? In other words, maybe we take it too seriously. And it is serious – heavens! Being created out of nothing is ... I don’t know what you’d do with that without some kind of guidance or help. But it seems that God has created everything with a certain tenderness and humor and playfulness.
Well, this raises the question: What games does he play? So, let’s take a look at some of the games. Certainly “Hide and Seek” is a favorite game; that is to say, God hides and we keep seeking! And once in a while he pokes out or tosses out some sign of his presence. You don’t get the whole of God, I guess, because that would complete the game. That’s the end-game – that’s permanent union
Jugando con Dios
¿Qué se hace cuando se tiene todo? En otras palabras, Dios, en su esencia, no necesita nada, no necesita crear. ¿Qué es lo que va a hacer? Bueno, ¿qué harían ustedes? Quizás jugarían a algun juego. Podríamos hacernos la pregunta: Bien, ¿es que acaso este viaje que es la vida y este proceso evolutivo en el que estamos inmersos es siempre algo tan serio? Dicho de otro modo, quizá nos lo tomamos demasiado seriamente. Y lo es - ¡cielos! Ser creado de la nada es… no se qué haríamos con eso sin algún tipo de guía o ayuda. Pero aparentemente Dios ha creado todas las cosas con una cierta ternura, y humor, y travesura.
Bueno, esto nos plantea la pregunta: ¿A qué juega? Consideremos algunos de los juegos. Por cierto, “la escondida” es uno de sus juegos favoritos, ¡o sea que Dios se esconde y nosotros continuamos buscándolo! Y cada tanto se asoma o nos lanza alguna señal de su presencia. No recibimos la totalidad de Dios, supongo, porque eso haría que el juego terminara. Ese es el final del juego. Esa es la unión definitiva.
