Every human being is literally one in a million or a billion. Billion would be closer. In other words, there could have been a billion other possibilities. If you take the genetics seriously in every conjugal act there’s a couple of billion sperm cells that are not used plus many unions that don’t conceive at all. So by the time you get through your math calculations the fact that we happen to exist is one chance in maybe a billion. The bottom line is to emphasize that we’re not here by chance only but by an enormous love. God chose us and here we are. So, I think that says something.
Uno en un billón
Cada ser humano es, literalmente, uno en un millón o en un billón, para ser más precisos, En otras palabras, podría haber habido un billón de otras posibilidades. Si nos tomamos en serio la genética, en cada acto conyugal hay un par de billones de espermatozoides que son descartados, además de muchas uniones que no terminan en una concepción. Así que, cuando termínanos con nuestros cálculos matemáticos, el hecho de que existamos significa quizá una oportunidad en un billón. En resumidas cuentas, no estamos aquí solo por accidente sino gracias a un enorme amor. Dios nos eligió y aquí estamos. Creo que eso nos dice algo.
