Some people are yearning, but they don’t know they’re yearning for God.
In fact, they think they’re not yearning for God. How can the connection be made between God and that seeker?

This is the job of religion. Religion literally means “to bind back.”
It tries to awaken us to a disposition or an attitude or a relationship.
I especially emphasize a relationship with God with which you
can feel comfortable. If you’re afraid of God,
this is a relationship that’s a little distorted.
It’s not the one that is helpful in establishing a friendship
or especially a union with this mystery.

At that time Jesus said in reply,
‘I give praise to you, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes
to reveal him.

La Amistad con Dios
Algunas personas están anhelando, pero ellos no saben
que están anhelando a Dios.

porque has mantenido ocultas estas cosas

El Padre puso todas las cosas en mis manos.
Nadie conoce al Hijo sino el Padre,
ni nadie conoce al Padre sino el Hijo
y aquellos a los que el Hijo quiere
dárselo a conocer.
