What attracts me about Centering Prayer is the simplicity of it. Resting in deep silence – well sometimes it’s not all silence within – but, it’s an opportunity to let that go and just be there. I don’t do the practice necessarily to change but I think changes have happened and gradually my heart has been opened more. There’s a desire within to serve others – not from my head, but more from my heart. To see the oneness of all creation. To feel the presence of God – Christ in me – serving Christ in others. I really don’t know where all this leads. It’s all a mystery to me which is ... It’s nice to be in that mystery, to feel the presence of God and just know that all will be well.
A partir de la Oración Centrante : Saber que todo va a estar bien
Lo que me atrae de la Oración Centrante es su simplicidad. Quedarme en profundo silencio – bueno, a veces no todo es silencio en mi interior – pero es una oportunidad de dejar ir todo y sólo estar allí. No hago la práctica porque quiera cambiar necesariamente, pero creo que hay cambios que se han producido y gradualmente se me ha abierto más el corazón. Hay un deseo interior de servir a los demás – que no viene de la cabeza sino del corazón. Ver la unidad en toda la creación. Sentir la presencia de Dios -Cristo en mi , servir a Cristo en los demás. Realmente no se adonde lleva todo esto. Es todo un misterio para mi qué es… Es bueno estar en ese misterio, sentir la presencia de Dios y simplemente saber que todo va a estar bien.
