What Christ represents is an enormous thrust of the human species towards transformation and transcendence and to becoming what God's original plan is in creation or evolution which is to share the divine life with everyone in so far as that's possible. He's manifesting the incredible humility of God, not to be God. In other words, he’s given us the classical example of humility which can't possibly be surpassed. To choose, as Paul says in Philippians, "Not to regard being equal with God something to cling to." That's an extraordinary statement. If you’re God and don't care about being God, what does that say about the pretentions of people who want to be God without any qualifications whatsoever except their own will?
So, Jesus represents then manifestation of the dispositions of the Trinity which is infinite compassion, mercy. That is, taking the lowest place gathering us from below by identifying with the sins of the world and taking them away.
Un Enorme Impulso de la Especie Humana para la Transformación
Lo que Cristo representa es un enorme impulso de la especie humana para la transformación y la trascendencia, y para convertirnos en lo que es el plan original de Dios en la creación o evolución, que es compartir la vida divina con todos en la medida de lo posible. Está manifestando la increíble humildad de Dios al no ser Dios. En otras palabras, nos ha dado el clásico ejemplo de humildad que posiblemente no pueda ser sobrepasado. Elegir, como dice Pablo en Filipenses, “no retener ávidamente el ser igual a Dios”. Esa es una extraordinaria afirmación. Si se es Dios y no se da importancia a serlo, ¿qué dice eso acerca de la pretensión de las personas que quieren ser Dios sin ningún otro mérito que su propia voluntad?
Luego, Jesús representa la manifestación de la disposición de la Trinidad que es infinita compasión, misericordia. Es decir, el tomar el lugar más bajo y recogernos allí, desde abajo, al identificarse con los pecados del mundo y quitárnoslos.
