I’m a facilitator of our church’s Centering Prayer group. As we do this kind of prayer we help to transform ourselves and we are conduits to transform other people as well. We just have that sacred word to remind us of God’s presence and action within us and that’s such a wonderful practice because we learn how to do that in Centering Prayer and then we can carry into our life. Whenever I get into situations that are sort of chaotic or hard, I come back to my sacred word and remember God’s presence within me.
La Oración Centrante nos transforma y servimos como canal para transformar el mundo
Soy facilitador en el grupo de Oración Centrante de nuestra iglesia. Al hacer este tipo de oración ayudamos a transformarnos a nosotros mismos y también somos canales para transformar a otros. Solo tenemos la palabra sagrada para recordarnos acerca de la presencia y acción de Dios dentro nuestro, y esta es una práctica maravillosa, ya que aprendemos a hacerla en la Oración Centrante y luego la extendemos a nuestra vida. Siempre que me encuentro en una situación caótica o difícil vuelvo a palabra sagrada y recuerdo la presencia de Dios en mi interior.
