I became familiar with Centering Prayer and I’m not the most patient person in the world and I have a lot of room for improvement and I still do. But I think my wife would say that I have more patience than I’ve ever had and she can tell. I have a calmness that I just didn’t have before. And I think the idea of just consenting to God’s presence has not only helped me be aware of God’s presence in myself but also in my neighbor and all of God’s creation.

Conocí la Oración Centrante, y no soy el más paciente del mundo, tengo mucho aún para mejorar, pero creo que mi esposa diría que tengo ahora más paciencia de la que nunca tuve y ella sí puede dar fe. Tengo una calma que antes no tenía. Y creo que la simple idea de consentir a la presencia de Dios no solo me ha ayudado a hacerme consciente de la presencia de Dios en mi, sino también en mi prójimo y en toda Su creación.
