This is a point that is very hard to grasp: We’re distinct from God, but not separate from God. So, in a sense all creation is the womb of God … and everything is in there … and the divine umbilical cord, so to speak, is feeding everybody at every level of their being, body, soul and spirit … so that they can grow into the fullness of the divine human being …for whom it is God’s will to enter into the fullness of divine life, or the maximum of divine light, life and love we can possibly receive. And how do we get it? Not by action, but consent.
