The way elements come into effect is by the death and resurrection you might say of the galaxies or
stars. When the star dies, the supernova spews out all the energy that's left at terrific heat and then
it can create new elements. This is how the elements necessary for life gradually took their place in
the cosmos over billions of years – 13.7 is the date that you're giving for the moment. Where were
you 13 billion years ago?! I think this cosmology is wonderful! If this is God's will that he chose to
create and he chose to create in an evolutionary manner which is what science is now saying, then
we're only halfway there. We're in the middle of nowhere. We can't go back to the irresponsibility of
the beasts. They follow their instinct and they glorify God by doing so. We can't do that anymore
because following some of these instincts is a choice and we've been given by God freedom of
choice. Do you think God doesn't expect us to make mistakes? Is it a good idea to call these
mistakes "sins?" Or, might it be better to say, "Sorry, you're a little unevolved?"

La forma en que los elementos comienzan a operar es, podríamos decir, por la muerte y resurrección de las galaxias o las estrellas. Cuando muere una estrella, la supernova lanza al exterior toda la energía que queda con un extraordinario calor, y así puede crear nuevos elementos. Así es como los elementos necesarios para la vida gradualmente aparecieron en el cosmos durante billones de años – 13.7 es la fecha que nos dan por el momento. ¿Dónde estaban ustedes hace 13 billones de años? ¡Creo que esta cosmología es maravillosa! Si es voluntad de Dios que haya elegido crear, y eligió crear de una manera evolutiva, que es lo que la ciencia ahora dice, entonces estamos solo a medio camino. Estamos en medio de la nada. No podemos regresar a la irresponsabilidad de las bestias. Ellas siguen su instinto y glorifican a Dios al hacerlo. Ya no podemos hacer eso, porque el seguir alguno de estos instintos es una elección, y nos ha sido dada por Dios la libertad de elegir. ¿Creen que Dios no espera que cometamos errores? Es una buena idea llamar a estos errores “pecados”. ¿O quizá fuera mejor decir, “Perdón, creo que están un poco atrasados en su evolución”?
