Here’s one example of how theology is enriched by science: We now know that the human species has a oneness that transcends all differences and that we really are everybody else as well as ourselves and that when we greet someone we’re really greeting ourselves on one level. But besides that, everybody has the divine presence in them and is saturated with God. We know as Teilhard says every sub-atomic particle is Christ and we’re trillions of them so our very bodies are just saturated with Christ all the time and manifesting in all the organs in more specific ways. All reality can be subjected to quantum physics and so on. God manifesting, or close to us, or relating to us, in everything that happens and in everything that we meet. To live in that world is a very different situation from one of competition and of goals that are really based on infantile programs for happiness such as the three first energy levels of security, power/control and affection and esteem.

He aquí un ejemplo de cómo la teología es enriquecida por la ciencia: ahora sabemos que la especie humana tiene una unidad que trasciende toda diferencias, y que en realidad cada uno somos todos los demás y a la vez nosotros mismos, y en cierto sentido, cuando saludamos a alguien, realmente nos estamos saludando a nosotros mismos. Pero además todos tenemos la presencia divina en nosotros y estamos saturados de Dios. Sabemos, como dice Teilhard, que cada partícula subatómica es Cristo, y somos trillones de esas partículas, por lo que nuestros cuerpos están absolutamente saturados de Cristo todo el tiempo, y se manifiesta en todos los órganos de manera específica. Toda la realidad puede ser analizada por la física cuántica. ¿Se manifiesta Dios, o está cercano a nosotros, o se relaciona con nosotros en todo lo que sucede y en todo aquellos a lo que nos enfrentamos? Vivir en un mundo así es una situación muy diferente que la de competir y tener objetivos, que en realidad se basan en programas infantiles para la felicidad, como los tres primeros niveles de energía – niveles de seguridad, poder / control, y afecto/ estima.
