With regard to Contemplative Outreach, in my spiritual life, in my journey, and mainly in regard to Centering Prayer, Contemplative Outreach has given me the tools to educate me, to enrich me, to help me continue in my journey and once the practice became established, since service comes as a consequence (of the practice), to serve from love, from the right motivation. I have also learned to live in a simpler way, to live the solitude with greater joy, and not be afraid of being alone. Finally, Contemplative Outreach is very important because it has given us the basis to start our personal transformation and, consequently, to influence in a small way, the transformation of our immediate environment and I am convinced that through the philosophy and vision which Contemplative Outreach maintains, that is, the communion that Contemplative Outreach promotes, is the way that will transform us little by little, and can transform our immediate environment and, eventually, it is the only way that could transform the world.
La Oración Centrante: transformando poco a poco el corazón del mundo
Con respecto a Contemplative Outreach, en mi vida espiritual, en mi viaje, y especialmente en lo que se refiere a la Oración Centrante, Contemplative Outreach me ha dado las herramientas para educarme, para enriquecerme, para ayudarme a continuar mi camino y, una vez que la práctica se hizo parte de mi vida, ya que el servicio es su consecuencia, para servir desde el amor, a partir de la motivación correcta. También he aprendido a vivir de manera más simple, a vivir la soledad con mayor alegría y a no tener miedo de estar solo. Finalmente, Contemplative Outreach es muy importante porque nos ha dado la base para comenzar con nuestra transformación personal y, en consecuencia, para influir - aunque en pequeña medida – en la transformación de nuestro entorno inmediato. Estoy convencido de que la filosofía y la visión que sostiene Contemplative Outreach, la comunión que promueve, es el camino que nos irá transformando poco a poco, y puede transformar lo que nos rodea, y eventualmente es la única manera en que se puede transformar el mundo.
