The Fullness of Love: An Advent Wisdom Retreat

Join us for a three-day in-person Advent retreat exploring Mary’s relationship to Jesus as a hidden-in-plain-sight illumination of the Christian path of engaged non-attachment.

Following the Gospel texts and the poetry of Khalil Gibran, we will discover Mary’s robust and courageous embodiment as a joy-filled teaching and invitation to shelter, germinate, release, and sow the seeds of Christ in our own lives as service to the whole.

Retreat includes co-teaching from Rev. Jonathan Steele and Fr. Benjamin Thomas, guided contemplative exercises, and a general Benedictine structure of Ora et Labora including shared silence/Centering Prayer sits-with a closing eucharist celebration on Sunday afternoon.

This retreat will take place in person from Friday, December 3, 2021 through Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Mustang Island Conference Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
