I’m a priest, I am part of the Contemplative Outreach community of the Dominican Republic and I would like to share how deeply grateful I am for having Centering Prayer in my life, which has been a great gift the Lord has given me. It has helped me to go deeper into my relationship with the Lord, become more intimate with him, get acquainted with my human condition, be more broadminded and compassionate to myself and to others, and let myself be transformed by the Lord through the practice of Centering Prayer. Centering Prayer has inspired me to serve others much more freely and lovingly. I also really appreciate the support of the community in helping me to be faithful to my daily practice of Centering Prayer.
La Gratitud por la Oración Centrante y la Comunidad Mundial Practicante
Soy sacerdote, y pertenezco a la comunidad de Extensión Contemplativa de la República Dominicana, y comparto mi profunda gratitud con la Oración Centrante en mi vida, que ha sido un gran regalo que Dios me ha dado. Me ha ayudado a profundizar mi relación con el Señor, a crecer en intimidad con El. Conocer mi condición humana, a ser más compasivo y tolerante conmigo mismo y con los demás, y dejarme transformar por el Señor a través de la práctica de la Oración Centrante. La Oración Centrante me ha impulsado a brindar un servicio más libre, más amoroso a los demás. Valoro mucho también el apoyo de una comunidad para sostenerme en mi práctica de Oración Centrante.
