I think that Centering Prayer has to be taught with a certain expansiveness. It really includes any effort at interior silence in the presence of God that evokes more and more of our total surrender to that Presence. As consent becomes more complete, it's more surrender and you could call it just, say, "surrendering to love" if you prefer. I find love too confining a word because it has so many different meanings in the English language, but still it's a good word to use.
Entregarse al amor
Creo que la Oración Centrante debe enseñarse con una cierta amplitud. En realidad, incluye cualquier esfuerzo en dirección de hacer silencio interior en presencia de Dios, y evocar cada vez más una total entrega a esa Presencia.
A medida que el consentimiento se hace más completo, hay una mayor entrega - podríamos llamarlo "entregarse al amor", si así lo prefieren. Encuentro que la palabra "amor" es demasiado limitada porque tiene tantos significados diferentes en el idioma inglés, pero de todos modos es una buena palabra en este caso.
