The cross is our invitation to participate in the self-giving of Jesus to the point of identifying with humanity, that is, identify with sin in the sense of the consequences of sin. . The cross then is the human condition of this body that is lying there that has been through the process of dying and has died and has accepted its sufferings and even embraced them out of a greater love for the human family.

La cruz es nuestra invitación a participar en el don de sí (auto- donación) de Jesús al punto de identificarse con la humanidad, esto es, identificarse con el pecado en el sentido de las consecuencias del pecado. La cruz es la condición humana de este cuerpo allí tendido que ha pasado a través del proceso de morir y ha muerto y ha aceptado sus sufrimientos y aun los ha abrazado desde un amor mayor por la familia humana.
