What Are You Waiting For? A Virtual Advent Silent Saturday via Zoom

Contemplative Outreach of Columbus is offering a Silent Saturday. Silent Saturday provides a few hours that are set aside for Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, spiritual teaching and reflection. “Come rest awhile with the Lord” in preparation for Advent.

Advent is a time of waiting and hope. It needs our attention. Sr. Carol Ann will lead us in reflecting on the manner and amount of space we allow for Christ in our lives. Let us take time to become more aware of the power of Emmanuel’s presence within each of us and our ability to warm the lives of others because of God’s gift.

Sr. Carol Ann Spencer O.P. is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Peace. She has led countless workshops and retreats. She is also the founding director of WELLSTREAMS, a program for becoming a spiritual director, and the Spirituality Network.
The day will begin at 8:30am and last until 2:30pm. Eastern Standard Time (New York)
