The prayer that is commonly known as The Lord’s Prayer is one that many of us know by heart. But there is more power and depth to this prayer when it is approached from its Aramaic roots. This day of prayer will draw upon the work of Neil Douglas-Klotz to help us experience a deeper power in the words of Jesus — words that draw us into the heart of Jesus, the heart of all creation.

Retreat Leader: Henry Schoenfield, MDiv is a spiritual director, UCC pastor, and certified professional coach. As a spiritual seeker, he draws from different spiritual traditions while being firmly rooted in the Contemplative Christian path. He loves working with individuals and groups as they discover more deeply how God is loving them and leading them to live out God’s love in the world.
