ONLINE CENTERING PRAYER RETREAT – A Three-Day Intensive

EXTENDING THE WALLS OF OUR INNER ROOM TO ALL OF LIFE

This retreat will be an opportunity to complement our basic Centering Prayer practice
with a deeper experiential understanding of the Active Prayer phrase, the Welcoming Prayer,
Guard of the Heart and Presence Practice–thus extending the walls of our inner room to all of life.

Serving the Contemplative Outreach community for 25 years.
Bob studied these practices under the guidance of Fr. Thomas Keating.

RETREAT SCHEDULE
Thursday, August 20th– Sunday, August 23th
All times are Central Standard Time.
Each session will begin with 30 minutes of Centering Prayer.

Thursday
Evening-Session 1 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Friday
Morning-Session 2 9:00am – 11:00am
Noon-Centering Prayer 12:00am – 1:05pm (Optional)
Two Centering Prayer periods back to back with a 5 minute break.
Afternoon-Session 3 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Evening Session 7:00pm – 8:30pm (Optional)
Breakout sessions and Q & A

Saturday
Morning Session 4 9:00am – 11:00am
Noon-Centering Prayer 12:00am – 1:05pm (Optional)
