We as human beings have an inborn desire to seek happiness. Where does this come from? What keeps us from true happiness? And what is happiness?
Thomas Keating relates spiritual development through the lens of contemporary psychology in terms we can understand. This opens us to insights into our behaviors and a deeper look at our inner life. This modern day translation of the spiritual journey describes a path that leads to peace and freedom, and a most intimate relationship with God. It is highly suggested that you are familiar with The Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop.
The class opens with a 20-minute period of Centering Prayer, video of Thomas Keating followed by a live group discussion.
