Let us explore the practical implications of the wisdom contained in these two passages. What are the elements in our life and the practical rhythms that we can enter into each day to live out the implications found in these Scriptures?

Fr. Carl: “I remember an interviewer asking Fr Thomas Keating, ‘You seem to be implying that our life is a life of diminishment. That’s not going to attract too many people.’ There was a long pause and he answered as I remember it, ‘Well it’s not my idea’ with a twinkle in his eye and a wonderful smile.”

Let us look at that through the lens of healing, forgiveness but above all the celebration of life.
