COCEMO 6-Day Intensive/Post-Intensive Retreat

Both tracks of this retreat provide an opportunity to deepen the practice of Centering Prayer in an atmosphere of profound silence and community support.
The post-intensive retreat has up to six one hour Centering Prayer periods daily that consist of two 30 minute sits, with an optional meditative walk in between, along with the viewing of a selection of the Spiritual Journey Video Series by Fr. Thomas Keating.
Participants in both tracks will have the opportunity for interviews with the retreat staff if they so desire. Previous participation in an intensive retreat is a prerequisite to attend the post-intensive.
Daily Eucharist will be available. Daily AM gentle yoga and professional massage therapy may also be available. All are optional.
Retreat Director is Fr. Matthew Flatley. For over thirty years Fr. Flatley has engaged the daily discipline of Centering Prayer. Since 1994 he has taught Centering Prayer and led many retreats and workshops. He is excited to share his passion for contemplative prayer with all who are interested.
