Location: Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center on Beautiful Lake Tahoe
$227 Double Occupancy with bathroom in room, $335 for private room with bathroom.
Includes two nights & 5 meals. Most rooms with lake view.
$75 non-refundable Deposit, total due by February 1, 2020.
Retreat Theme: We hold a weekend away from the business and activity of everyday life. In this retreat we create a contemplative community grounded in silence through several periods of Centering Prayer. There is time for rest, reflection, and getting in touch with the beauty of the pines and Lake Tahoe.
Facilitators: Deacon Dennis and Patty Schreiner are trained and commissioned Centering Prayer Presenters. They have been involved with Contemplative Outreach, founded by Fr. Thomas Keating, OCSO, since 1992, practicing Centering Prayer and guiding others in the way of prayer. Deacon Dennis has been an ordained deacon for 26 years for the Diocese of Reno, Nevada. Patty attended the deacon training with her husband for four years, is a master catechist, and has completed her training to be a spiritual director.
