Centering Prayer Weekend Retreat

Anyone with an established Centering Prayer practice is invited to participate in this Centering Prayer Weekend retreat. The retreat serves as a way to go deeper in your prayer practice plus time to spend in silence and solitude in community. Several periods of Centering Prayer each day allows time for rest and walking in the Benet Hill Monastery forest in the Black Forest of Colorado Springs, CO. The retreat begins with arrival at 4pm Friday continuing with dinner at 5pm and orientation at 7pm. The methods of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina will be reviewed. The retreat concludes with a video teaching from Fr. Thomas Keating. Departure on Sunday is at 3pm.

Cost: $250 with a non-refundable deposit of $50 due with registration.

Benet Hill Retreat Center Retreat Details: All bedrooms are private with shared bathrooms. Space is limited to 9 retreatants plus the team. Meals will be shared with the Sisters of Benet Hill. Benet Hill Monastery is located at 7600 feet elevation.
