This is recording of a talk given by Fr. Thomas Keating at Contemplative Outreach’s Annual Conference in Chicago in 2000. Fr Thomas answers the question of “Who is God?” by directing us to the experience of God and by reflecting on the parables, especially the Pharisee and the Publican, the Leaven and the Banquet, each which gives us an insight into the nature of God. The talk ends with an exploration of Matthew 6:6 as a way to be aware of the presence and action of God through Centering Prayer.
